RESOURCES

The Johnson County SWCD has a number of tools available to either purchase or borrow.  Following is a list of items:

• 8 oz. geotextile landscape fabric
  • $600/roll (rolls are 15 ft. wide x 300 ft. long)
  • $2/linear foot
  • $1.20/square yard
  • Fabric can be cut to length
• 2006 Plat Books for sale: available for $15.00 (additional $2.00 for mailing)
• Your Yard, Your Trees book for sale:  available for $2.00 (a $5 value)
• Marking Flags for sale:  $9 per bundle (100 flags per bundle)
• Erosion Control Netting for sale:  $.25 per linear foot (includes staples)
• Seed Slinger for rent:  $50 deposit and $5 per acre fee
• Color Infrared Images on cd-rom $80.00/Township or $380.00/entire county
• HACH Kit: available to teachers who have completed the Hoosier Riverwatch program.
