CES (Purdue University Cooperative Extension Service) provides knowledge, information, and
decision-making support materials on a wide range of topics including equipment selection, crop production and
crop storage, integrated pest management, soil fertility, weed management, waste handling, and economic
decision-making.

The Farm Service Agency of the U.S. Department of Agriculture ensures the well-being of

State Department of Agriculture, Division of Soil Conservation
(ISDA-DSC) (leave our website)
The mission of the
Indiana State Department of Agriculture’s Division of Soil
Conservation (ISDA-DSC) is to elevate the importance of statewide
soil and water stewardship with a focus on local implementation of
conservation practices on urban and rural land. Through the Clean
Water
Indiana
program, ISDA-DSC supports local initiatives and takes advantage of
federal funding opportunities to promote conservation initiatives.
ISDA-DSC is committed to conserving and protecting our natural
resources because Hoosiers cannot be economically viable without
being good stewards of the land and water.

Natural
Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) of Indiana (leave our

NRCS (USDA-Soil Conservation Service) provides on-site help situations
requiring knowledge of soils, engineering designs for erosion control structural practices, wetland determinations on individual farms upon
request, planning assistance for drainage systems, help in planning any practices that improve water quality,
and aid in developing conservation plans for highly erodible land.

Association of Conservation Districts (NACD) (leave

The National Association of Conservation Districts is the non-governmental, nonprofit organization that represents nearly
3,000 conservation districts across the nation. NACD enables districts to do collectively what would be difficult or impossible individually. NACD pools district experience
and develops national policies on a continuing basis. It maintains relationships with organizations and government agencies;
publishes information about districts; works with leaders in agriculture, conservation, environment, education, industry, religion
and other fields; and provides services to its districts.
