YOUNGS CREEK WATERSHED
MANAGEMENT PLAN
The Youngs Creek Watershed
Management Plan contains background information about the Youngs Creek
Watershed, including land use history, demographics, geology, topography,
and benchmark data about streams, creeks, and other processes that
affect surface water quality. This information was used by the
Youngs Creek Advisory Group to formulate the Plan's goals, objectives,
and strategies for improving and maintaining water quality in the
watershed.
Any
interested citizen is enthusiastically invited obtain a copy of the
Plan. The Youngs Creek Project has already obtained over
$230,000 to begin implementing actions set forth in the Management Plan.
Input provided from the review process will help guide the direction of
this funding.
